Are you ready for your adventure?

This is a question we have heard a lot over the past months.  And, we are not exactly sure how to answer it.

Adventure is defined as: a bold, usually risky undertaking; hazardous action of uncertain outcome.

We are not undertaking something risky or unplanned.

I prefer the term… Experience

The word experience is defined as: the observing, encountering, or undergoing of things generally as they occur in the course of time and building in knowledge or practical wisdom gained from what one has observed, encountered, or undergone

In our life, we have had many adventures and experiences.  Moving 3 children to a new country is not something we frivolously decided.

We have 3 children that mean everything to us.  We are super interested in their well being.  That includes offering them real life exploration of the world as a whole.  To see how things in different places are the same and are different.  And, that different is ok.

The benefits of raising children in an environment where we can feel better, spend time together, meet people that are happy and work hard and not as tied to material possessions and value family -that is something worth encountering.

So, I guess you can say that we are excited to have this unique experience as a family.

It was a sweet treat to spend a little time with Shannon, Sue Ann and their kitties.  Selena calls them her “cousins”.  We love you guys!

And today we are off to see some very dear friends outside Atlanta.  Camille can’t wait to “stay up all night and catch up”, Mike looks forward to not staying up all night, Austin is looking forward to hanging with Tyler & Cameron, India Nicole is excited to meet “Nicole the First”, and Selena is happy to keep up with her older siblings.

PS- everyone is loving their new fancy toothbrushes Auntie Nellie.
