WILD HORSES & LIGHTNING

The “girl team” was walking in a neighborhood that also is home to wild horses.  How cool is that?

The houses are spread out and that leaves lots of vegetation for the horses to eat.  Some of the people leave water buckets on their fences for the horses to drink.

India fell in love with a “teenager horse” that was brown with a white star on it’s forehead.  Ginger Kitty liked the baby that kept close to it’s momma but also was curious to meet us.

India and Ginger Kitty had fun walking with their new friend Ellice.

We rang a bell at this house and didn’t realize it is home to a bee’s nest.  Mikee would have FREAKED!  (also, check out the giant aloe plant)

Last night we were locking up our “casa” and caught the sunset shining through the clouds of a lightning storm.

At dusk there are these “bobos”.  A white transparent bug about the size of a mosquito.  They don’t bite but swarm.  Supposedly they only live for 24 hours.  They are harmless but pesky.  Hmm… does that sound like a “Bobo” back in Rhode Island?  (who we miss very much)  🙂

Also, thought you would get a kick out of seeing Mikee try to relax while being attacked.

This picture below is a beautiful HUGE Royal Palm that was in the garden of a house we visited. There were a lot of bees coming in and out of the fruit you see on the right side.

Royal Palm Tree approximately 20 years old.
