The ride TO school is not as happy as the ride HOME.
However, both rides are always interesting.
Monday we saw…
…there are 4 or more trucks just filled with bricks on the side of the road. We originally thought maybe they were making new sidewalks or something. Mikee figured out that these trucks are across the street from a local “gravel bank & building supply” store and they are selling bricks. (I was too busy always looking at the trucks to look across the street) 😉
Anyway, then we started noticing other trucks pulling up along side these and loading up.
These guys grab a pile of a half dozen bricks (loose, mind you) and toss them to the waiting guy in another truck.
Can you toss 6 loose bricks and keep them all together? And if you can master that trick, can you load an entire truck by hand that way? (if you can, send me the video. i’d like to see it)
I remember seeing a video of a Kingdom Hall being built (somewhere that’s not in the US) and the workers were tossing bundles of bricks in that fashion.
