We’re still here. Just quite swamped at the moment. Busy in the woodshop and a friend in the hospital and feeding pioneer school and the normal “have 3 kids” routine.
Quick funny story…
My friend volunteered me to make 2 crockpots of chicken tortilla soup. (by the way, created my own recipe and it’s pretty yummy) We also had to drop our car off at the shop. (pictures of that later) So, Monday morning at 8am Mikee and I load our stuff into the car. I was a little concerned about driving on the bumpy cobblestone road. Silly me completely forgot about the fact that our driveway is a 45 degree angle and also we live at the top of this mountain road which is very steep, and basically a cobblestones and potholes obstacle course, and a nearly mile drive to the bottom. With 2 full crockpots of soup sloshing around.
Did we make it? YES
Was there a little less soup? OF COURSE
But we delivered it on time and then went on to our next adventure of the day.

Very funny about the driveway. Soup and steep driveways reminded me of a cake delivery to the moutains….my cake did ok unitl….the driveway!!! I had to perform surgery on it and no one ever knew! Miss you and wish we could have tortilla soup together again!!
