Today is officially the shortest day of the year.
What time was your sunset?
This is on our terrace at 6:25 pm.
And the temp was a “chilly” 68 degrees. Brrr… 😉
Since before we were married Mikee has always been interested in living here on Lake Chapala. The long winters of back home just totally bum him out. Mikee’s favorite aspect of living here is the weather.
We never get up in the morning and wonder if it will be a pleasant day (weather wise. everything else is very random.) Rain never interferes with your plans. We eat outside every single evening.
Not trying to brag but sometimes people ask us why did we pick this spot to move to. 🙂
Wherever you are, enjoy the daylight hours getting longer.
Oh my…gorgeous! A chilly 68 Degrees…hmm…ours will be close to zero before the day is done.
BEAUTIFUL VIEW FROM YOUR TERRACE!
It’s dark here at 4:30. but i’m not complaining. the sooner it gets dark, the sooner the Christmas lights go on. I’ve been finding places to go at night just so i can drive and see all the pretty lights. but your sunset over the lake is a pleasure to look at too.
Mexico, MO Sunset tonight 4:48pm Yeah..finally the days will start getting longer from here out…but our coldest months are ahead with Jan & Feb usually getting the worst of it. So far, rain rain rain…no snow. We had a little snowstorm in October/Nov when we visited NY and nothing since.
Lake Chapala…even sounds pretty….
Just Beautiful, what more can I say.
Excellent to see you’ve added something to your blog. I love reading your day to day experiences. Sister Shelley Welcome Bay Cong New Zealand
We just did our family study on christmas and really went into Saturnalia, its history and influence on the holiday. You can really see it in the sunset times the week before and after Dec 25th.
The faithful and discreet slave sure does feed us well!
Enjoy your blog greatly….your unknown brother in Colorado
