Because our trip was so long, we used 4 different rental cars. That’s right. Four. Count them.

True Story
When we arrived in Tampa, we went to the Rental Agency to rent our first car. We rode on a shuttle bus and our luggage filled the entire luggage section! (Just for the record, we’re packed with clothes for hot weather, clothes for cold weather, bathing suits, and books. We even have suitcases CARRYING other suitcases to fit things we buy!) We have 17 suitcases all together. When we got off, the bags were in one gigantic pile.
We pack "light." 😀
Dad left to find a van. Just as he left, I turned around and saw this.
It was a candy-apple red Mustang covertable, and I immediately hoped we would get it. The only problem is it only had two seats. We still could have fit in it, though. Two people could sit in the seats. The others could ride in the trunk with our 17 bags. 😀
For some reason, Dad didn’t see my reasoning and bought THIS instead.
Well, at least it’s red.
