YES IT DID!
We drive this road MANY times each week into Jocotepec. There are some towns here on Lake Chapala where you may see signs in English. The town of Ajijic has a large expat community and there are things in English. But come to Joco and you are in a town as Mexican as they come.
When we saw this sign we just had to pull a U-turn and check it out.
A new privately run library.
There is a real library set up with books in English. Lots and lots of them too.
I just kind of looked around with my mouth open.
Incredulous… That is the word I am looking for.
If you live here on the lake then you MUST check this out. (it’s on the carretera right at the entrance to the bypass)
We were on our way back from the lab. Blood work for just $12. Gotta love the affordable, good quality health care available. And it comes with high-tech processing machines like this typewriter.
We also had a traffic jam to contend with today.
