GUESS WHAT? WE ARE MOVING. AGAIN!

Guess what?

OK, the title probably gave it away.  🙂

We are moving.

This time we will be moving quite a distance.  But we will still be living in Mexico.  Would you like to guess where?

We just spent 3 weeks in the Yucatan Peninsula.

The first 2 weeks we stayed in a neighborhood called Playacar.  And our friends, the Ronans, met us there.  They will also be moving to the same area.

How many kiddos can you spot in this picture?

We will be moving to the other side of the country to Playa del Carmen in the state of Quintana Roo.

Playa del Carmen is between Cancun and Tulum on the Caribbean coast of Mexico.

This will be a good move for our family and there is never just a single reason for making a move -especially a big one.  We have had a lot of adventures here in Jalisco and also have some very dear friends that we will miss to pieces.  That is the hardest part about moving… saying good-bye to good friends.

Good friends

Are hard to find,

Harder to leave,

And impossible to forget.

The boat you see is the ferry that goes between Playa del Carmen & Cozumel

There are ancient ruins all through the area and right in the neighborhoods

Lots of nice places to walk and ride bicycles

We will enjoy catching an earlier sunrise to begin the day

Our secretaries assisted in the search for a home by taking detailed notes of each place

We settled on this one. Here is the view from our balcony.

A 3 minute walk will bring you here…

…to the Puerto Aventuras Dolphin Discovery

Or you can also walk to the beach and visit “Selena Lilly Ginger Kitty Fairy Princess Mermaid Island”

Then we took a little time to be tourists…

And now, I am off to pack us up and get ready for the 3 1/2 day road trip to our new home.

This is our 1329 mile driving trip.

WHAT ?!?! That’s awesome ! We just came back a few weeks ago from Playa del Carmen. We stayed at the Fairmont Mayakoba. We loved it, we spent a day in Tulum, and found the best snorkle spot in Akumal. Can’t wait to read about your adventures there. The water is so beautiful !!!!

Enjoy your new place. 🙂 We stayed in Playa Del Carmen last year at the Grand Mayan Resorts and loved it! There is an awesome open air taco restaurant across the street from Walmart.
