We stayed in a nice hotel for our visit to Merida.
Dolores Alba is just blocks away from the Plaza where the options for entertainment and eating abound.
Rooms were very typical of Mexico -which means rock hard beds- but comfortable. I liked how everything faces a courtyard.
Just $35/night including breakfast.
Of course, there are usually just 2 prong outlets and we always bring our little 3 prong adapters. Not sure what their problem is with not liking things grounded. Maybe it’s just to keep things exciting.
The parking was an adventure. You can see that Mikee maneuvered the car with an inch on either side.

Monday morning we were packed and ready to go for adventure. What a spectacular day. Let me try in get the pictures down to a manageable amount. See you tomorrow. Or the day after. 😉
Perhaps someone has already let you know this, but there is a commercial running right now for a particular car and the only parking space is similar to the one Mikee parked in. The husband says he can park there and all in the car are shaking their heads “no”. The next scene is the car in the space with no room to spare with the family looking on…..and then the back pops open and he crawls out the back. Now when I see that commercial, I will think of Mikee and smile!!
