…(whether we know it or not)
It’s hard to believe we’ve only been here ONE WEEK! It seems like it’s been a month at least. That is probably because so much has happened. Trying to lock the gate, have warm water, and wash our clothes really messes up time. Our most recent problem has just happened. We have a pet! Well, sort of. Let me explain.
You know how some bathtubs have a drain above the faucet that you press to drain the water? Well, it usually has a metal cover over it that’s screwed on.
Not ours.
So on the 2nd day we discovered there was a FROG (or la rana in Spanish) living in it. That’s right, a frog.
Kitty (sorry, Ginger el Gato), Dad, and I think it should stay. India and Mom say, “The frog’s gotta go” We call it Frogger, Mom and India call it gross.

So, what would YOU do? Keep the frog? Get rid of it? Eat it for supper? Make your choice and tell us in your comments so we can tally them up and decide what to do! We’d LOVE to hear from you!
Adios,
Austin. ( – ;
A frog in your drain? How quaint. Personally, I’d find another tub.
all I can do is giggle…heeheehee…but the frog has gotta go, It would be okay if it stayed there. But what if it decides to join you…eeek
Keep him…learn how to do the frog stroke while you’re bathing 🙂
hot water salt pepper, i’m thinking frog legs yum
Well, here in sunny (but tonight 27) Florida we are used to frogs. Maybe not in the tub drain but…they do or can eat other critters (bugs in southern language) !!!!! So, if you can tolerate “him” he may become your best friend. May sure he isn’t poisionous!!!!!!! Their “poop” can be very bad. Sounds like you will have new “critter” experiences.
Kathy and Mitch
put it out in a nice pond some where but that thing would have to go I HATE I mean HATE Frogs.
Thats my vote.
Decisions decisions!
Ryan votes you leave him/her alone. I say it can be a pet but it needs to live in a glass aquarium in Austin’s room.
Okay I say keep the frog if you’re into catching it bugs and taking it out of the tub becuase once you start taking HOT showers with SOAP it will be detrimental to it’s health. However you could make it a nice habitat on one of the many verandas and it would stick around of it’s own accord.
Hi Austin, Selena and India,
We like your Frog! Hey guys we miss you.my mom got your skype address maybe we can chat soon.bye guys see u online.
I think the frog should stay right where it is nice and cozy-he was there first!!!!!and don’t you have three bathrooms??? SHARE!!!!!
tate~i think i agree with marrisa, just so that u guys can have some privacy in the bathroom. and so that you dont hear some random croak while your in the shower.
hola amigos let it out!!! to its real family!!!. hailey
let it go amigos!!! hailey
Austin, I will give you $1 if you bite its head off in front of your sisters. Just kidding; don’t do that. You should probably be nice to your house-guest and relocate the little fella to somewhere where he won’t get poisoned by soap and stuff.
I say, “set the La rana free”. Jordan says,”Keep it and learn the ways of the Mexican Frog.”
I say keep him- just maybe not in your tub…. In India’s pillow! 🙂 hehehhe.
DON’T LISTEN TO BEN!!!! Frogger is your new pet!!! I agree he needs to leave the house but maybe see if he likes living in your yard?
Ok now, I love all animals, however, ” a frog in the bath. How in the world did he survive in there. I’d imagine he gets lots of water. Its the food part that got me a big mystified! !?? I’d be packing his froggy things up and deliver them to him, in the back yard. No warts, no worries…!
