How was your Sunday?
We do have a routine on Sundays -study lesson, meeting at noon, chicken from a roadside stand (we are trying different ones to find a favorite).
And then, in true Mexico fashion, a dose of the unexpected.
This first video is a shop we drive by several times a week. We couldn’t figure out if there was a carnival coming to town but noticed that this ferris wheel has no seats.
Hey, maybe it’s a new kind of thrill ride where you just hang on for dear life.
Actually this shop fixes carnival rides. Although, Austin thought he heard it as “carnivore hides”. Now THAT sounds exciting.

Today we stopped by this stand. The muchacho dude is selling hats for 25 pesos –that’s about $2. While Austin paid the dude, a car stalled in the middle of the street. A young girl was driving -it’s her first day- and she stalled the car which also has a bad starter. Her dad was banging on something in the engine to try and get it going. Mikee offered to give a push so the dad could “pop the clutch” and …

Hey what a fun day. I love Austin’s new hat. I would have so much fun at that stand trying on all those hats. I guess that is true southern hospitality I think I can say that you are pretty far south.
