Whew!
What a trip!
It took an extra day and several extra flights to get back to Mexico. And, just to make us feel welcome, there were some surprises such as…
…the airline losing our 12 bags
…finding that we have very limited water to use
…it has actually been raining for 2 weeks straight (unheard of during dry season)
…3 large palm trees in our yard were mysteriously cut down and the remains left in a pile
….the lock was not working on the driveway gate and we are locked inside
…my server for the blog was not accessible
But one beautiful surprise was to see the top of Colima (a volcano/mountain which is nearly 100 miles away) covered in snow!
Wow! Just emailed you! What’s the deal with the rain?? Miss you all and so glad you stopped by to see us.
Sorry to hear about all your “surprises” when you got back. We miss you very much!
It was great to see you at Brown School. What a surprise when I met up with you all in the hallway. Glad you got back safely even with the missed luggage.
The snow on the mountain is beautiful and it is in the perfect place –on the mountain and not on the roads in New England!
Glad you got home safely! It was great seeing all of you.
