AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We should know. We went just the other day! There is no better way to spend the evening than watching tigers, acrobats, clowns, and eating cotton candy.
I know, you’re probably wondering…
“There are circuses in Mexico?”
“Are they enjoyable?”
“Do they sell tacos instead of popcorn?”
Well, I’ll tell you how it happened.
🙂 – DRAMATIC FLASHBACK….
There we were. We were all just kicking back. I was watching a movie. (We don’t have channels yet 🙁 )
Then a phone rang. We have a lot of phones all with different numbers, so we can NEVER figure out which phone is ringing and we can NEVER find the right phone in time. FINALLY, Mom found it and answered. The call was from our friends, the Dorrells. They wanted to know if we wanted to go to the circus with them.
whoosh!
We were outside their house to pick them up faster than you can say el Circo. We squished all nine of us into our van.
When we got there we bought our peanuts, candy, and tickets (in that order) and headed inside the over-sized tent to enjoy the show.

We taped our favorite acts so you can watch!
We saw tigers jump through hoops on fire. Kitty enjoyed seeing her “distant kitty cousins” do tricks. And, YES, there were 6 large tigers in that one act.

We saw acrobats swinging on giant scarves.

We saw horses, eh, walking. (I don’t really understand what’s so amazing about that.)

We saw acrobats doing hat tricks. (I’ll never look at a hat the same way again.) India really enjoyed this performance because it reminded her of the Chinese acrobats that came to her school last year.

This video I dedicate to Grampa. He used to be an incredible gymnast and and understands how much strength it takes to do tricks like this.

The camels. Well, they’re camels. That’s kinda all. This guy does ALL the animals acts. The animals have a close relationship with him he pats them, but sometimes his whip pulls him towards the “Dark Side.”

The hoops can only be expressed in one way.

Whoah!
After the circus ended we went to where they keep the animals. Even THAT part was really fun.

This isn’t like most circuses. In most, EACH act is one single group of people. In this circus, all the clown acts are a group, all the acrobats are one group (this means the same 10 guys performed in each of the acrobat acts), and all the animal acts are one group. It amazes me that these people do this every day, two times per NIGHT. That’s a lot of work!
It may look fun, but circus life isn’t for me…
…but it may be for him.
All in all, we still had fun.
I love you, I really, really do. And I like the name Ginger Kitty. From Jademi
Dear Jademi. I love you too. I miss playing with you. I have been practicing the hula hoop and am really good at it. Can’t wait to see you again. xoxo…Ginger Kitty
How cool would it be if they could train those horses to moon walk??!

Dad, did you see on the video “Pole 1” the guy who climbs the pole by swinging his legs to lift himself up? SO AMAZING!
